Where Creative Minds Play!
To give unique opportunities in performing arts, visual arts and recreation to young people
The program's goal is to encourage young people to explore new means of expression through their interest in the arts.
MSSA alumni have gone on to successful careers in the arts including film, television, Broadway, music performers, newspaper columnists and professional artists.
The Middlesex School Summer Arts Program (MSSA) in Concord, MA, was founded in 1986 to provide an environment in which young people can pursue and develop interests in the arts.
Every summer young people from Grades 1-11 come for summer fun with a creative, artistic focus.
The program offers over 100 courses in art, dance, drama, technical theater, gymnastics, music, video production, writing, photography, textiles, and other fields.
Adapted by special arrangement with the
Charles River Creative Arts Program, Dover, MA.
The multi-arts program offered at MSSA is designated by the National Endowment for the arts as a nation wide model for multi arts programming.
